The Libra Supply PEX poly adapter is designed for use with PEX in potable water and radiant heating systems. The poly adapter is made of PPSU polyphenylsulfone and features a PEX x straight pipe thread end connection. This fitting provides a means of adapting a threaded connection to a PEX connection. The PEX fittings are lightweight, easy to install and maintenance-free. Joining can be accomplished with copper crimp ring, copper sleeves, or stainless steel sleeves. The PEX system requires fewer fittings than traditional rigid plumbing systems resulting in fewer potential leak paths.
