Product Description Standards: BS 3900, ISO 2813, ASTM D 3258, D 3265 These precision applicators are used in conjunction with paper, hiding power charts,plate glass or other smooth flat surfaces. They are simple, accurate production or quality control tools which require no adjustment. This applicator has the advantage of combining ease of use with 1 gap size in one unit. For best results it should only be used on solid substrates which are smooth. We cannot guarantee that you will draw-down the theoretical wet film thickness. The drawdown process consists of many variables. The actual wet film thickness can vary from 50% to 90% of the gap depending on the gap clearance. Each Stainless Steel Bar Film Applicator comes with Reuseable Storage Case and SIMT Traceable Calibration Certificate can order separately.
