Edvotek 102-C Restriction Enzyme Cleavage Patterns of DNA for 24 Gels

Plasmid and lambda DNA are pre-digested with restriction enzymes - endonucleases that recognize and cut double-stranded DNA within or near defined base sequences. Digests are separated by agarose gel electrophoresis. Kit includes: instructions and Ready-to-Load dye samples for 24 gels. All you need: electrophoresis apparatus, power supply, automatic micropipet and tips, balance, microwave or hot plate, visualization system. EDVO-Kit 102-C contains pre-digested DNA samples ready for electrophoresis sufficient for twenty-four (24) agarose gels with the use of an automatic micropipet. A: Plasmid DNA (uncut), B: Plasmid cut with Bgl l, C: Plasmid cut with Eco Rl, D: Lambda DNA (uncut), E: Lambda DNA cut with Eco Rl, F: Lambda DNA cut with Bgl l, Practice gel loading solution, 100ml Plastic graduated cylinder (packaging). Experiment components include enough sample for 24 gels if you are using an automatic micropipet for sample delivery. Use of transfer pipets will yield fewer gels. Reagent quantities are based upon the use of Horizontal gel electrophoresis apparatus, Model M12 and sample volumes aliquoted at 40 �l each.
